Pop-up Turku project
organized by JCI Turku
Business premises in the center of Turku (Finland) have been emptied at a record pace in recent years. JCI Turku is seeking to revive the city center with a project called Pop-up Turku. Its aim is to increase the attractiveness of the center and lower the threshold to entrepreneurship.
The Pop-up Turku project involves offering empty business premises in the center area for pop-up use for a period of up to one week. Through a web portal free premises can be booked by businesses and associations for their use. By the shop-in-shop principle, the premises can also be shared, if needed.
